Alrededor de la adopción existen muchos mitos y un gran desconocimiento de los procesos. Los datos reflejan que la adopción siempre ha estado presente, aunque algunos años sea una estadística menor. Con el testimonio de ambos invitados y su gran recorrido profesional, descubrimos cuál es el proceso a seguir si se quiere adoptar y rompemos con esos mitos que solo desinforman y ralentizan la difusión del conocimiento real sobre la adopción.

Legislación para fortalecer el acogimiento familiar como medida de protección prioritaria
El Ministerio de Juventud e Infancia ha abierto una consulta pública para aportar ideas y comentarios a tener en cuenta para la elaboración de una legislación para fortalecer el acogimiento familiar como medida de protección prioritaria.
Desde ATLAS valoramos muy positivamente esta necesaria iniciativa que permita la prioridad del acogimiento familiar frente al residencial y del fomento de dicho acogimiento familiar, asi como tener la posibilidad de cambiar algunos paradigmas actuales que permitan transitar del acogimiento a la adopción, poniendo el foco en el Interés Superior del Niño/a (ISN).
Por todo ello hemos realizado nuestras aportaciones presentando en el Ministerio el siguiente documento que se puede descargar en el siguiente enlace, esperando que se tengan en cuenta para la elaboración de la legislación correspondiente.
